How To Tackle Low Memory Problems in Windows8
Why the low
disk space error appears
No
matter how big your computer’s hard drive is, you manage to fill it
up eventually. Windows 8 needs a minimum amount of free disk space to
run properly. If Windows does not have enough available free space to
store its data, it starts to slow down, and you can’t install new
programs unless you delete something. Luckily, low disk space
problems can be fixed without deleting any of your important files.
Troubleshooting Low
Disk Space
Use the Disk
Cleanup Utility
The Disk Cleanup
utility has not changed much in Windows 8. Disk Cleanup helps remove
temporary files from the computer.
If you are on the
Metro Screen use Windows Key + D to go to the Desktop. On the Desktop
double-click the PC icon or click the File Explorer button on the
taskbar.

Empty the Recycle
Bin
When you delete
files they go to the recycle bin. Files in the Recycle Bin are still
stored on the hard drive in-case you delete something by accident.
Emptying the recycle bin will free-up some more disk space on your
computer. You can also try running WinThruster to get rid of
unnecessary files.
Remove Duplicate
Files
Everyone has
multiple copies of pictures, videos, and songs on their computer.
These can be hard to find and delete one by one. Luckily, you can use
anti-twin to find duplicate files.
Download and install
anti-twin.
